How is this different from a book that just uses my child's name?
Those books are a finished story with a blank filled in. Here, the people, the pet, the town, the favorite things, and the kind of adventure all change the writing. The pictures follow their face, not a stock child with a caption.
Who can be in the story?
Up to six family members or friends, up to three pets, and up to four special objects such as a stuffed animal or a truck. A person, pet, or object appears in the story when you add a photo or a short description. A name alone stays off the page.
What does the printed book look like?
Square, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, 24–32 pages. This preview writes 24 interior pages, which is inside that range. Story Collection is $39.00. Made From Scratch is $49.00. Free shipping, plus applicable sales tax.
Can I read it before I order?
Yes. After a short email check you get the reference sheets, the cover, and the first two pages free. The rest of the book is painted after you pay.
How long does a real book take?
The free pages appear right away. After you pay, the rest of the book is painted, you approve it, and a print-on-demand partner ships it to the address Stripe collects.
What happens to photos I upload?
You confirm you have permission to use them. Originals stay private and are used only to paint a picture-book reference sheet, not as a photo on the page. They are deleted when the book is sent to print, or after 14 days if you never order.
What ages is it for?
The builder accepts ages 1 through 12. The voice of the story is a picture book, happiest around preschool and early elementary.
Do you save my child's details?
You can start with no account. The draft stays on this device and is saved to your anonymous session. We ask for an email only when you want the free preview, then a 6-digit code, never a password.
What does shipping cost?
Free shipping. Checkout adds applicable sales tax from the shipping address. There is no shipping charge.
